Is there anything more comforting than fresh warm bread? It’s one of those simple staples that can be used in so many ways. I was so intimidated the first time I tried to make my own, but to my surprise… it really wasn’t as hard as I had made it out to be.
Making bread is such a useful skill. It doesn’t have to be fancy, it can be as easy as a one hour loaf or a little more complicated like sourdough. Just learning a little will bring you and your family peace of mind that you know what to do with all that flour you panic purchased!
Bread is an easy way to incorporate homesteading for anyone! You don’t need a farm or land to make delicious homemade bread for your family. Your making the most of what you have… and that to me is what homesteading is all about.
