Welcome to the Harts Homestead! We are so glad that you are here! We are just a couple of city kids gone country trying to live a simpler life for our 3 little boys. We live in a small farming town where we have learned a lot about being self-sufficient, slowing down, and living a happier simple life. We can’t wait to share what we’ve learned with you!
Over the years we have SLOWLY added in more animals, children, and homesteading practices into our lives. We have found such joy in simplifying and learning to do things for ourselves. It doesn’t have to be a huge lifestyle change! You can slowly learn and grow, just like we are continuing to do! We started in a tiny studio apartment learning to depend on each other and figure things out together. One step at a time!
